U-Guard Adapters – Steel
Conduit to U-Guards

EMC Steel Adapters are dual-purpose accessories to EMC's U-Guards for use when underground cables are in conduit at the pole. First they shroud the conduit riser and couple the Plastic U-Guard or Steel U-Guard. Second, they provide a protected air inlet for venting the U-Guard riser. This chimney effect venting eliminates the necessity for cable re-rating because of elevated temperatures in the riser.
